The SNAPSHOT is the unreleased version of GeoAPI currently in development. Developers working on projects who need long term stability should use a released version of the API rather than the SNAPSHOT, ideally one formalized with an OGC specification document.
This release requires a Java environment Java 5 or higher. Nightly builds can be obtained from the Hudson automated build tool's output page.
A milestone is created every months. API changes compared to the previous versions are documented in the changes page.
